Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Senior Network Security Engineer role based in Jaipur. The successful candidate will design, implement, and manage secure network solutions, ensuring the resilience of corporate systems against potential threats. Daily responsibilities include monitoring network traffic, addressing vulnerabilities, managing firewalls, and implementing robust cybersecurity protocols. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security best practices and to address evolving security challenges effectively.

Role Summary

Responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong expertise in routing, switching, and network security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manageLAN, WAN, WLANenvironments
• Configure and troubleshootrouters, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
• Implement and optimizeBGP, OSPF, EIGRP; VLAN, STP, LACP
• Performincident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization
• Executenetwork upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management (EOL/EOS)
• Maintainnetwork documentation, diagrams, and SOPs
• Implement basic automation usingPython / Ansible (preferred)
• Collaborate withSecurity, Cloud, and DevOps teams
• Adhere toITIL-based change and incident management processes

Core Technical Skills

• TCP/IP, OSI Model, Subnetting
• Routing: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Switching: VLANs, STP, Inter-VLAN, LACP
• Network Security: VPN, NAT, ACLs, firewall policies
• Enterprise networking (Cisco or equivalent platforms)
• Network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Nagios, PRTG)

Preferred Skills

• Cloud networking (AWS / Azure)
• Network automation (Ansible / Terraform)
• SD-WAN technologies
• Virtualization (VMware or equivalent)
• Zero Trust architecture fundamentals

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, or related field

Certifications:

• CCNA (Mandatory)
