Senior Network Engineer (LAN)

Description

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Local Area Network (LAN) technologies to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead network projects while ensuring high performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Local Area Network (LAN) infrastructure.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
• Document network configurations, policies, and procedures for future reference.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
• Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions for network improvements.
• Ensure network security and compliance with industry standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in network engineering, specifically with LAN technologies.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.
• Proficiency in configuring and managing network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and performance analysis.
• Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
• CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking certifications preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
