Senior Network Engineer - IT

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to maintain optimal uptime and speed.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new hardware, software, and cloud-based solutions into existing infrastructure.
• Conduct network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Perform regular system audits and ensure compliance with organizational security standards.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and system changes for operational continuity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and support staff.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for procurement, troubleshooting, and network improvements.
• Stay current with emerging networking technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions.
