We're looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our IT Operations team in Bangalore and be part of building and supporting a truly global network environment.
In this role, you'll design, implement, and manage modern network infrastructure across both cloud and on-prem platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security. You'll work closely with infrastructure and security teams, giving you great exposure to end-to-end network operations.
You'll also play a key role in strengthening secure access by working with technologies like Microsoft NPS, RADIUS, and 802.1Xmaking a real impact on how our systems stay connected and protected.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and internet connectivity across global sites, data centres, and cloud platforms
- Manage and optimise Aruba network infrastructure (switches, wireless controllers, access points)
- Administer and maintain Barracuda firewall platforms, including VPNs, policies, threat protection, and high availability
- Ensure network and perimeter security controls follow best practices
- Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability; proactively resolve issues
- Manage Microsoft NPS (RADIUS, 802.1X authentication, certificate integration)
- Troubleshoot complex issues across routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and remote access
- Plan and execute network upgrades, patching, and lifecycle activities
- Create and maintain technical documentation (topology diagrams, runbooks, standards)
- Support IT projects with scalable, secure, and cost-effective network solutions
Requirements:
- Experience in enterprise network engineering (multi-site/global environments)
- Strong hands-on experience with Aruba networking (switching & wireless)
- Strong experience with Barracuda firewalls
- Experience with Microsoft NPS, RADIUS, and 802.1X authentication
- Strong knowledge of OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP, ACLs
- Experience with VPN solutions (site-to-site & remote access)
- Experience in network monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
- Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills
- Ability to create clear technical documentation
- Strong communication skills (technical & non-technical stakeholders)
- Ability to work under pressure in a global support environment
- Experience with Azure networking (VNets, peering, VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute)
- Knowledge of network security (IDS/IPS, web filtering, secure access)
- Experience with network automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform)
- Familiarity with ITIL processes
- Experience in network integration projects (mergers, acquisitions, new sites)
- Knowledge of zero-trust and cloud security principles
- Experience integrating NPS with Active Directory, PKI, and MFA
