Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Network Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise and datacenter network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in switching, routing, firewall management, VPN technologies, and load balancing, along with excellent troubleshooting and communication skills while working with international clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPN solutions.
  • Work extensively with Cisco and HP switches, including console and serial console access.
  • Configure and maintain Cisco ASA firewalls (ASA 5540, 5520, and 5505 series).
  • Configure and operate VPN solutions using Cisco AnyConnect clients and site-to-site IPsec tunnels.
  • Manage and support Fortinet, Palo Alto, and Juniper SRX/SSG firewalls and security gateways.
  • Implement firewall hardening and network security best practices.
  • Configure and manage F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
  • Support MPLS and VPN technologies across enterprise and datacenter environments.
  • Work with virtual networking technologies including PVLANs and QoS for VoIP.
  • Maintain and manage IP tracking and network documentation systems.
  • Monitor network performance and ensure high availability of critical infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and international clients to resolve complex network issues.
  • Participate in datacenter operations, deployments, and infrastructure maintenance activities.
  • Implement and maintain Azure cloud network security solutions and connectivity between on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and HP switching technologies.
  • Good understanding of switching and routing concepts.
  • Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls, including VPN concentrator configuration.
  • Working knowledge of Fortinet and Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Hands-on experience with Juniper SRX/SSG service gateways.
  • Experience configuring and managing F5 BIG-IP load balancers.
  • Strong understanding of MPLS and VPN technologies.
  • Knowledge of firewall hardening and network security practices.
  • Experience working with Cisco serial consoles and console access.
  • Knowledge of virtual networking concepts such as PVLANs and QoS for VoIP.
  • Experience in datacenter environments.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication skills with experience supporting international clients.
  • Additional certifications in networking, cloud, or security technologies will be advantageous.

Certification

  • Cisco certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent) are preferred.
  • Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification is a plus.
  • Additional certifications in networking or security technologies will be advantageous.

Education

  • B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / B.Sc (IT, CS, Electronics)
