Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructure.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot network devices, firewalls, wireless solutions, and SD-WAN environments.
- Provide L2/L3 support for complex technical issues across network and security layers.
- Optimize network performance through monitoring, traffic analysis, and shaping.
- Support business continuity initiatives including BCP and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning.
- Maintain compliance standards and detailed technical documentation.
- Handle helpdesk escalations and ticketing processes efficiently.
Technical Skills Required
- Strong understanding of OSI & TCP/IP layers
- Expertise in:
- Spanning Tree, VLAN, VTP, HSRP
- OSPF
- Hands-on experience with:
- FortiGate Firewall, Forti Switch, FortiAP
- FortiGate SD-WAN & ADVPN
- Forti Manager scripting
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Policy Routes
- Firewall Policy Creation
- Port Filtering
- Security Profiles
- Traffic Shaping & Analysis
- ZTNA
- Forti VPN Configuration
- Forti Wireless Setup
- Experience in:
- Meraki Wi-Fi setup & troubleshooting
- RADIUS & LDAP authentication in LAN/WLAN
- Exposure to:
- Helpdesk & Ticketing Systems
