Senior Network & Cybersecurity Engineer

About the Role

bits&BYTE is looking for an experienced Senior Network & Cybersecurity Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise networking, network security, and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting complex IT infrastructure and security environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, routing, and switching.
• Configure and manage enterprise firewalls, VPNs, network security, and network segmentation.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity solutions, including PAM, SIEM, NAC, MFA, and EDR/XDR.
• Lead network and security solution design, implementation, migration, and troubleshooting.
• Handle complex L2/L3 escalations and perform root cause analysis.
• Work closely with customers, OEMs, and internal teams on technical solutions and projects.
• Prepare technical documentation, HLD/LLD, and solution proposals.
• Lead and mentor technical teams, manage task allocation, and ensure successful project delivery.
  
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Networking, Routing & Switching, LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and VPN.
• Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, or Cisco.
• Experience with PAM, SIEM, NAC, MFA, EDR/XDR, and IAM solutions.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, RADIUS, LDAP, and security monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting, solution design, and customer management skills.
• Prior experience in team leadership and managing technical projects.
  
  

Preferred Certifications

CCNP/CCIE, Fortinet NSE/FCP/FCSS, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE, CISSP, CISM, or other relevant networking and cybersecurity certifications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
