We are seeking an experienced Senior Network & AAA Engineer to design, implement, and manage high-performance networking infrastructure across our VPS, High Availability Cloud, and Dedicated Server platforms.
This role is critical in ensuring secure authentication, scalable routing, efficient bandwidth management, and high
availability networking within our data center environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
1. Software-Defined Routing
- Deploy and manage software-based routing platforms such as:
- MikroTik CHR, VyOS, FRRouting, pfSense / OPNsense
- Configure and optimize:
- BGP routing and traffic engineering
- VLAN / VXLAN segmentation
- NAT and routing policies
- Ensure high availability and redundancy in routing architecture
2. AAA / RADIUS Infrastructure
- Deploy, configure, and maintain FreeRADIUS servers
- Implement AAA services:
- Authentication
- Authorization
- Accounting
- Integrate RADIUS with:
- Cloud platforms and provisioning systems
- VPN services
- Network devices and dedicated server environments
3. Cloud Networking & Infrastructure
- Design and maintain networking for:
- VPS environments
- Dedicated servers
- Private cloud clusters
- Manage:
- IP address pools and subnet allocation
- Customer network isolation (multi-tenant environments)
- Bandwidth policies and traffic shaping
4. Data Center Network Operations
- Operate and maintain:
- Core switching infrastructure
- Top-of-Rack (ToR) and aggregation layers
- Work with enterprise networking vendors such as:
- Cisco, Juniper, Arista, MikroTik
- Ensure network scalability, performance, and uptime
5. Security & Access Control
- Implement and enforce:
- Firewall policies and ACLs
- Anti-spoofing and network protection mechanisms
- Basic DDoS mitigation strategies
- Maintain secure access to infrastructure and services
6. Monitoring & Troubleshooting
- Monitor network and systems using:
- Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, LibreNMS
- Diagnose and resolve:
- Packet loss and latency issues
- Routing anomalies
- Authentication and AAA failures
7. Automation & Integration
- Develop automation tools and scripts using:
- Bash and Python
- Integrate networking with:
- Provisioning systems
- APIs and orchestration platforms
- Improve operational efficiency through automation
Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Expertise
- Strong Linux system administration skills
- Deep understanding of:
- TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF
- VLAN / VXLAN
- Hands-on experience with:
- FreeRADIUS
- MikroTik, VyOS, FRRouting
- Firewall and IP address management systems
Cloud & Virtualization
- Experience with:
- Proxmox, VMware, OpenStack
- KVM-based virtualization
- Strong knowledge of cloud networking concepts
Networking & Infrastructure
- Solid understanding of:
- ISP-grade networks
- Data center architecture
- Traffic routing and bandwidth management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hosting companies, ISPs, or cloud providers
- Familiarity with automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code
- Knowledge of DDoS mitigation solutions
- Experience managing large-scale IP pools and BGP environments
Experience Required
- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, ISP environments, or cloud infrastructure
