Job Description:

Senior .Net and Kentico Developer

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sr. Web Developer to join our team. As the Lead Web Developer, you will be responsible for various stages of web application development, including understanding business requirements, coding, testing, documentation, deployment, and production support. Leading a small, talented development team, you will focus on delivering high-quality enterprise caliber systems on the Kentico platform, primarily using C#, ASP.NET, and client-side scripting. Your primary role will involve participating in full life-cycle application development projects. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about technology and highly motivated to develop best-in-class software.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of development experience and minimum of 5 years of solid web application development experience using ASP.NET and C#
  • Strong skills in web-based technologies, including HTML, XML, and CSS
  • Experience with tools such as Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and IIS
  • Expert-level programming experience in MVC (4.0+), jQuery, and Knockout.js
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design and development principles
  • Highly skilled in Entity Framework, SQL Server, and LINQ
  • Experience with Web Services and SOA, including SOAP/XML and RESTful Web APIs/JSON
  • Experience in integrating web page content using a CMS tool, preferably Kentico
  • Experience with integrating web applications with popular CRM tools, preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Strong ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to lead a small group of developers to complete projects with moderate supervision.
  • Ability to mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • ideally 5+ years of experience in IT applications support role within customer services industry is preferred

Responsibility Areas:

  • Act as primary point of contact to Sales and Service Center (SSC) for all technical issues related to their use of the .COM portal. Identify problems and take responsibility for successful resolution of issues, including reporting of bugs.
  • Troubleshoot and debug the supported application/software issues raised by end users
  • Document and track defects, issues and enhancements to resolution using defect tracking tools and perform root cause analysis
  • Ability to implement and maintain the reporting solutions and troubleshoot and tune SQL code for optimal performance.
  • Proactively test for potential technical issues that users may face
  • Work closely with Application Development team on special projects as assigned and collaborate with the Product owners on iteration planning, releases, feature requests and prioritization
  • Create Knowledge Base Articles for the customer portal and instance tracking tool

Education & Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related technical field
  • Any recent Microsoft Certifications are a plus
