Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for the Head of Design at SHM Shipcare, located in Thane. The Head of Design will oversee and manage design initiatives across various projects, including structures and piping. Daily tasks include leading and mentoring the design team, handling class (IACS) inspections, surveys, collaborating with other departments to align design objectives with business goals, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality design outputs.

Qualifications

• Design Management and Leadership skills
• Softwares llike Autocad 2D/ 3D, 3D Modelling, ship constructor (Pipe Module), Cadmatic (Piping Module), NAVISWORKS
• Experience in Interior Design of ships is a plus
• Strong project management and team collaboration skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture
• Experience in the Shipyards, Design firms, Marine & Offshore industry is a must
