Role Description

Buoyancy Consultants is seeking a dedicated full-time Senior Naval Architect specializing in analysis to join our team in Panaji. The role involves performing advanced calculations, conducting structural and stability analyses, and providing design solutions for marine and offshore engineering projects. Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and delivering detailed documentation and reports. The Senior Naval Architect will also review and validate engineering designs and mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Naval Architecture and a deep understanding of Marine Engineering
  • Expertise in performing advanced calculations and structural analyses relevant to marine and offshore projects
  • Knowledge and experience in Navy-specific and marine industry practices
  • Capability to design and assess ship stability in compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design and analysis tools utilized for marine engineering
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within offshore or ship design projects
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team settin
