Role Description
This is a remote role for a Senior Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor (EdTech) at Prepkin. The position begins as a 3-month contract with the opportunity to convert to full-time based on performance. You will create polished, animation-first educational content including DataCamp-style micro-lessons, animated GRE/SAT explanations, UI/UX motion pieces, and high-impact reel-format content.
Responsibilities include:
- Designing and animating clean, modern motion graphics aligned with Prepkin's brand
- Building kinetic typography, diagram animations, math/logic visualizations, and UI motion
- Editing video lessons using TTS audio and instructor clips
- Converting Figma lesson designs in slide format into fully animated sequences
- Delivering assets across formats (horizontal lessons & vertical reels)
- Collaborating with instructional designers to convert academic concepts into engaging visuals
- Maintaining consistency across a high-volume production pipeline
- Managing deadlines with strong organization and communication
Qualifications
Required
- Strong proficiency in Motion Design, Motion Graphics, and Kinetic Typography
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro (or DaVinci Resolve)
- Experience animating diagrams, formulas, UI elements, and educational visuals
- Ability to edit videos, sync audio, and deliver polished final exports
- Strong design fundamentals: layout, rhythm, transitions, typography
- Ability to maintain brand consistency across all outputs
- Experience with TikTok/Instagram/YouTube vertical content
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organization
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects at once
A portfolio showcasing motion graphics AND video editing work is mandatory.

Nice to Have
- EdTech, e-learning, or educational animation experience
- Figma/Canva knowledge or UI motion experience
- Ability to create reusable templates (MOGRTs, expressions, automation)
- Character animation experience (for fun/engaging vocab reels)
- Experience using AI tools (Runway, Sora, ElevenLabs, ChatGPT workflows)
Education
- Degrees are optionala strong portfolio matters far more.
Compensation
- 3.5 lakh to 6 lakh per annum, depending on experience, portfolio strength, and technical skill level.
First 3 months are contract-based
- High performers may transition to a full-time role after that period
