What Avoma Is
Avoma is an all-in-one AI platform for customer-facing revenue teams. We automate note-taking, CRM updates, coaching, scheduling, and deal insights so teams spend less time on admin work and more time on conversations that move deals forward. With Avoma, teams save hours every week, improve performance, and collaborate better across every meeting.
What This Role Is And Why It Exists
This role exists to help people instantly understand what Avoma does and why it matters.
We compete in a crowded B2B SaaS space. Clear visual storytelling is not a nice-to-have for us, it is how we win. We need someone who can take complex product ideas and turn them into simple, engaging motion content that clicks with prospects and customers.
Without this role, our story gets harder to understand, launches lose impact, and our brand blends in when it should stand out.
Responsibilities
- Own motion content from storyboard to final delivery
Create high-quality 2D and 3D motion content end to end. This includes storyboarding, design, animation, and final delivery. Expect a steady cadence of motion work, typically one meaningful video or motion asset every 1 to 2 weeks. Scope will vary, from larger launch videos to smaller, high-impact pieces for product launches, campaigns, brand videos, trailers, social, and in-product experiences.
- Turn product stories into clear, compelling videos
Partner closely with Product Marketing on launches. Take a feature, script, or rough idea and turn it into a video that clearly shows what it is, what problem it solves, and why someone should care. Timing, emotion, and clarity matter more than fancy effects.
- Create static and motion design across channels
Work with graphic designers to animate existing assets into GIFs and videos for web, email, ads, social, blogs, and campaigns. You will also create your own static designs when needed to move projects forward, especially for video frames, infographics, thumbnails, and campaign visuals. Motion is the core focus of the role, but you should be comfortable owning static assets when the work calls for it.
- Repurpose content into visual formats people want to engage with
Work with Content and SEO to turn blogs, ebooks, case studies, events, and interviews into videos, GIFs, infographics, and social-first motion content that is easy to consume and easy to share.
- Own and evolve Avoma's motion brand
Create and maintain motion guidelines, templates, and systems that scale. Keep our brand consistent across channels while adapting the style for each surface. You own motion quality and cohesion across everything we ship.
- Collaborate and iterate quickly
Work closely with designers, product marketers, content, and leadership. Take feedback well, iterate fast, and keep projects organized so nothing slows the team down.
What Kind Of Person Will Succeed In This Role
You are a visual storyteller, not an order taker. You care deeply about how people experience a product story. You ask why before you animate. You see the big picture and still care for the details.
You enjoy collaborating, sharing ideas, and being part of shaping a brand. You like fast-moving teams and shipping often. You communicate clearly, storyboard naturally, and take ownership when something needs improving or fixing.
Must-haves and nice-to-haves
Must-haves
- 5+ years of experience in motion design, ideally in B2B SaaS or tech
- Strong motion fundamentals: timing, spacing, composition, pacing, and attention
- Proven experience telling product stories using SaaS UI and screenshots in a clean, simple way
- Ability to storyboard and shape a narrative, not just animate screens
- Experience owning projects from concept to final delivery
- Strong compositing, finishing, and export skills across platforms
- Comfortable testing and shipping fast, taking feedback, and iterating without handholding
Required Tools
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
Experience in B2B SaaS or a product-led tech company is required.
Nice-to-haves
- 3D tools like Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar
- Experience building motion systems or reusable templates
- Familiarity with Canva or AI tools to speed up internal assets
- Experience supporting sales or customer teams with visual content
Expectations and growth
This role is built for someone who likes ownership. You are expected to help shape the story, propose visual directions, and make creative decisions, not just execute instructions.
Collaboration is a big part of the job. You will work closely with product marketing, content, designers, and leadership, and actively participate in planning and creative discussions.
In the first 30 days, you will deeply understand our product, personas, and story, and ship your first major motion projects.
Within 2 to 6 months, you will own Avoma's motion quality and direction. You will bring new ideas, test formats, learn from competitors, and help us stand out visually in the market.
We are looking for someone who thinks like a creative partner and builds with us, not someone who waits to be told what to make.
