Skills & Qualifications:
- 27 years of experience in Mortgage Underwriting (US and/or UK process).
- Proficiency in income calculation, DTI, LTV, and credit risk analysis.
- Expertise in live underwriting, underwriting specialist, or core underwriting functions.
- Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform end-to-end underwriting for US and/or UK mortgage applications.
- Conduct detailed income calculation, DTI (Debt-to-Income), and LTV (Loan-to-Value) analysis.
- Review credit, collateral, and compliance documents to ensure accuracy.
- Make sound credit decisions aligned with client and regulatory standards.
- Handle live underwriting queues and provide real-time decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for smooth loan processing.
- Maintain high quality, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs.
