We are excited to announce an opening for the position of Senior Monitoring & Observability Engineer based in Bangalore (Hybrid).
Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced professional with 8+ years of expertise in Monitoring, Observability, and ITSM. The candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise monitoring solutions, ensuring system reliability and seamless ITSM integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead monitoring and observability initiatives across enterprise systems.
- Integrate and optimize BMC tools within ITSM workflows.
- Configure dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Drive automation and standardization of monitoring processes.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8+ years in Monitoring, Observability, and ITSM.
- Strong expertise in BMC suite (Remedy, Helix, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with Datadog, Nagios, AppDynamics, SolarWinds, or equivalent tools.
- Knowledge of incident, problem, and change management processes.
- Experience in hybrid environments (on-prem + cloud).
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to automation frameworks for monitoring.
- Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or Shell).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
