Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Application Developer with strong experience in native iOS and Android development and integration with ASP.NET Core REST APIs.

The developer will work on a mobile application involving camera-based image capture, real-time processing, cloud API integration, offline data synchronization, and cross-platform business logic.

Key Responsibilities

Mobile Application Development

• Develop and maintain native iOS applications using Swift / SwiftUI.
• Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin / Jetpack Compose.
• Implement camera functionality using:

o AVFoundation on iOS

o Camera2 / CameraX on Android

• Implement image capture, camera controls, validation, and real-time preview workflows.
• Integrate native C/C++ components using JNI on Android and Objective-C++ on iOS.
• Implement and maintain shared business logic using Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP).
• Ensure consistent application behaviour across iOS and Android.
• Implement local data storage and offline-first synchronization.

ASP.NET Core API Integration

• Integrate mobile applications with ASP.NET Core REST APIs.
• Implement API communication for data creation, retrieval, updates, and synchronization.
• Handle authentication, API errors, retries, timeouts, and network failures.
• Implement reliable offline-to-online data synchronization.
• Work with backend developers to define and consume API contracts and data models.
• Handle JSON serialization/deserialization and API versioning.

Testing & Build

• Develop unit, integration, and API integration tests.
• Perform cross-platform regression testing.
• Troubleshoot iOS and Android build/dependency issues.
• Work with Xcode, Gradle, CocoaPods, Android NDK, and CMake where required.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain clean, scalable mobile architecture.

Required Technical Skills

• 5+ years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong experience in both iOS and Android native development.
• Strong knowledge of:

o Swift / SwiftUI

o Kotlin / Jetpack Compose

o AVFoundation

o Camera2 / CameraX

• Experience with REST API integration and ASP.NET Core APIs.
• Good understanding of JSON, authentication, error handling, and API communication.
• Experience with offline data storage and synchronization.
• Working knowledge of C++, JNI, and Objective-C++ is preferred.
• Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD processes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with camera-based or image-processing mobile applications.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs with mobile applications.
• Experience with AWS/cloud-hosted APIs.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated applications is an advantage.
