Senior Mobile App Designer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Mobile App Designer to join our design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mobile app design principles, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to create intuitive, visually captivating, and user-centered interfaces for iOS and Android platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design mobile app experiences that align with our brand and enhance user engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to define app requirements, user flows, and functionalities.
• Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and pixel-perfect mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Design visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for mobile apps across iOS and Android platforms.
• Apply user-centered design principles and conduct research to inform design decisions and iterate designs.
• Ensure consistency in design language, typography, colors, and layout across app screens and functionalities.
• Optimize interfaces for usability and responsiveness across various devices and screen sizes.
• Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design elements, animations, and interactions.
• Stay updated on mobile app design trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to integrate innovative solutions.
• Conduct usability testing, gather user feedback, and refine designs accordingly.
• Collaborate with marketing to ensure the app's visual identity aligns with the overall brand.
• Provide ongoing design support for app updates, new features, and enhancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, UX Design, Graphic Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a Mobile App Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing iOS and Android app design projects.
• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Solid understanding of mobile app design guidelines and best practices for iOS and Android.
• Experience creating interactive prototypes and animations for mobile interfaces.
• Strong visual design skills, including typography, color theory, and layout composition.
• Familiarity with user-centered design principles, usability testing, and user research methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to present design concepts to cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, pixel-perfect designs.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
