Responsibilities And Duties
This is a full-time Senior Machine Learning Engineer role at GPI with the flexibility for some remote work, based in Mumbai. As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for researching, designing, and implementing machine learning models/algorithms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop innovative data-driven solutions to improve business performance.
Key Subject Matter / Technical Skills:
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++
- Proven experience in supervised and unsupervised models, deep learning and natural language processing
- Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing, and big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and AWS
- Experience in working with structured and unstructured data, data preprocessing and feature engineering
- Experience with ML model deployment and productionization techniques
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in leading a team or mentoring junior team members is a plus
- Great problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and with a team, attention to detail, and a desire to learn and innovate within a fast-paced environment
