Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior MicroStrategy Developer with strong hands-on experience in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-level BI solutions. The ideal candidate should be technically strong, proactive, and ready to work from our Nagpur office in a fast-growing analytics organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain MicroStrategy reports, dashboards, and dossiers
- Build and manage schema objects including facts, attributes, hierarchies, and metrics
- Optimize report performance using best practices (VLDB settings, caching, aggregations)
- Handle security implementation (user roles, object-level and data-level security)
- Collaborate with data engineering and business teams for requirement gathering
- Support production issues and perform root cause analysis
- Participate in design reviews, performance tuning, and solution enhancements
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in MicroStrategy development
- Strong understanding of MicroStrategy Architecture (Metadata, Intelligence Server, Web)
- Expertise in SQL and relational databases (Snowflake / SQL Server / Oracle preferred)
- Experience with Dossiers, Cubes, Prompts, Filters, and VLDB properties
- Knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting
- Exposure to cloud data platforms is a plus
- Good communication and stakeholder interaction skills
