Role Purpose: As a Senior Microsoft Systems Specialist, you will design, build, and deploy enterprise-level features for Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD). You will lead the engineering of cloud infrastructure, focusing on configuration management, security, and seamless global integration. You will serve as the technical lead for messaging and collaboration toolsets, ensuring all solutions meet rigorous legal, security, and regulatory compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Administration: Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 suite configurations, security policies, and service health monitoring.
- Security & Identity: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Entra ID, Conditional Access (CA), Identity Protection, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365.
- Compliance & Data Governance: Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) policies, and Advanced eDiscovery.
- Modern Workplace: Lead migrations (On-prem to Cloud, G Suite to M365) and deploy advanced features in Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and PowerApps.
- Automation: Utilize PowerShell at an expert level to manage environments, automate troubleshooting, and streamline data flows via APIs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Information Security Officer (CISO) and business leaders to align IT strategy with organizational goals.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, or Engineering (Master's in IT Management preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years in IT Infrastructure, with at least 5 years specifically managing 5,000+ user M365 environments.
- Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of the Microsoft stack, including Intune (Endpoint Manager), SSO, MFA, and VDI/Virtual Desktops.
- Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect (AZ-305) or Administrator (AZ-104) and Identity & Access Administrator (SC-300).
- Professionalism: Proven experience leading technical support teams and mentoring junior engineers/apprentices.
Bonus Qualifications:
- Experience integrating M365 with LMS platforms (Moodle/Thesis).
- Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive learning tools within the Microsoft ecosystem.
- Background in firewall configuration and Cisco/Aruba networking.
