Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Microsoft Fabric & Power BI Developer with 8–10 years of experience to support enterprise data modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Data Migration, and Business Intelligence.
You will be responsible for designing and developing interactive Power BI dashboards, implementing Microsoft Fabric solutions, modernizing legacy systems, and building scalable data pipelines. This role requires close collaboration with clients and technical teams to deliver high-quality, business-critical analytics solutions in a remote working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions.
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions, including Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Pipelines, and Dataflows Gen2.
- Build and optimize enterprise reporting solutions with a focus on performance and usability.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
- Perform data migration from legacy systems to Microsoft Fabric.
- Support legacy application modernization and backend data processing.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models.
- Integrate APIs and backend systems with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Create reusable semantic models, DAX measures, and Power Query transformations.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable BI solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize report refresh and data processing.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and deployment documentation.
- Participate in client meetings and provide technical support throughout project delivery.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely project completion.
Experience
- 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence and Microsoft technologies.
- Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Fabric and its core services.
- Experience in data migration, ETL/ELT development, and legacy system modernization.
- Strong SQL development, performance tuning, and data modeling experience.
- Experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations.
- Experience in enterprise reporting and dashboard development.
- Client-facing experience with excellent communication skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
