Role Summary
As a Senior Engineer in the MES Department, you'll work across the complete project lifecycle including solution development, system design, shopfloor integration, automated data collection, troubleshooting, enhancements, and continuous improvement.
You will support and maintain existing MES systems, lead development initiatives to keep pace with Industry 4.0, and collaborate with crossfunctional teams and equipment vendors to ensure seamless production operations.
Key Responsibilities
Essential Duties
- Lead technical deliverables throughout the MES project lifecycle.
- Analyze user requirements and perform detailed system design and implementation.
- Understand MES functionality to guide configuration, development, and business process changes.
- Provide technical expertise, maintenance, and guidelines for shopfloor MES delivery.
- Manage multiple projects independently with minimal supervision.
- Prepare design specs, functional documents & SOPs to ensure operational alignment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and equipment vendors for troubleshooting and solution development.
- Investigate and resolve MES production line issues; implement long-term fixes.
- Handle postimplementation enhancements and continuous improvement.
- Prioritize and manage multiple open cases simultaneously.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
Technical Expertise (Must Have)
- Proficiency with Visual Studio .NET 2017+, .NET Framework 4.5, Windows Services, Web Services.
- Strong programming skills in:
- HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3
- C#.NET, Python
- ASP.NET Core, ADO.NET, MVC
- jQuery, WebAPI, LINQ
- Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server & SSRS Reporting.
- Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Experience with SEC/GEM communication using Insphere components.
- Familiarity with industrial standards such as OPC, relational databases, ODBC, and Web services.
Preferred Skills
- 610 years of experience in IT systems or MES.
- Endtoend SDLC experience.
- Experience in process automation is a plus.
