Role: Senior Merchandiser Undergarments & Kidswear

This role is responsible for leading on-site and off-site merchandising execution for men's and women's undergarments and kidswear categories, managing both development and production cycles across multiple factories. The candidate must have strong technical product knowledge, disciplined execution, and the ability to confidently coordinate between buyers, internal teams, and manufacturing partners.
They must understand product dissection, construction logic, and how each component connects within the supply chain to bring the garment to life. The role requires efficiency in product development, clear coordination with factories, strict follow-ups, and accountability across every merchandising milestone.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end merchandising process from development to shipment for assigned programs
- Coordinate closely with buyers, buying teams, and design teams for product developments, costing, and approvals
- Manage factories, track execution timelines, and ensure production milestones are met
- Prepare and manage T&A plans with strict follow-up and accountability
- Oversee sampling, PP samples, approvals, and handover to production with clarity
- Work with development and production teams to ensure product accuracy and execution alignment
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and maintain communication discipline across stakeholders
- Understand domestic and international buyer requirements and align execution accordingly
- Support new orders, product strategies, and program conversions with factories
- Maintain documentation, accuracy, and professional communication at all stages
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong experience as a merchandiser in undergarments and kidswear categories
- Proven background working in both buying houses and factories
- Deep understanding of textiles, garment construction, and manufacturing workflows
- Ability to dissect products technically: trims, fabrics, construction methods, cost impact, and feasibility
- Strong English communication skills are mandatory, with clear, structured, and professional communication required. Proficiency in multiple languages will be considered an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple factories, timelines, and workloads with discipline
- Strong problem-solving ability with accountability and execution mindset
- Experience handling international buyers preferred
- Degree in textiles/merchandising preferred; relevant experience holds higher weight
