Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in overseeing the entire product development process, from sampling to production, ensuring timely delivery and top-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sampling Management: Coordinate the creation of product samples based on client specifications and market trends.
- Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end production process, ensuring quality control, timely execution, and adherence to client requirements.
- Costing & Negotiation: Prepare product cost sheets and negotiate with suppliers and clients to ensure profitability while maintaining quality.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sampling team, material sourcing, production, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless operations and product excellence.
- Trend Analysis: Stay updated on market trends and competitor activity to ensure product innovation and relevance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Fashion, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in export house as merchandiser leather bags
- Preferable work experience in Delhi or Chennai
- Strong understanding of leather bag & wallet production processes and materials.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and knowledge of production software/tools.
