About the Role:

House of Chikankari is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Fashion Merchandiser with 57 years of experience, preferably in the D2C or ethnicwear industry. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end merchandising operations including buying, inventory planning, vendor coordination, and ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams for timely product launches.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage buying operations, inventory planning, and vendor coordination
• Raise and track purchase orders (POs), manage T&A calendars, and ensure timely deliveries
• Liaise with design, operations, and marketing teams for smooth product launches
• Monitor stock levels, analyze sales data, and recommend reorders or markdowns
• Maintain product master sheets, pricing, and catalog data accurately
• Generate and maintain merchandising reports

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in fashion merchandising (D2C or Ethnicwear preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• ERP knowledge is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
• Proactive and self-driven with good organizational abilities
