We are looking for exceptional programmers with good problem solving and design skills to join the Investment Services Tech team based out of Hyderabad/Bengaluru. The team handles technology for finance and operations business units, supporting post-trade activities, trade accounting, portfolio accounting, management company accounting, fund accounting, valuation, treasury, compliance, tax, senior management compensation, regulatory, and investor reporting activities. The role offers an inclusive and dynamic environment, focusing on developing products that address efficiency and scalability challenges. We are seeking a technically strong and collaborative individual to join the DOCS Tech and FinR Tech team — a group at the heart of building the infrastructure that powers the firm's middle and back office operations. Our team designs and implements scalable technical solutions across fund accounting, external reporting, and investor experience — enabling critical financial functions to operate with greater efficiency, accuracy, and scale. The ideal candidate brings a strong programming foundation, sharp analytical thinking, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams. Clear, confident communication is essential — you'll be translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences and driving alignment across teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:
You'll be driving compete project lifecycles from collecting & analyzing requirements to project design, implementation, deployment, and production support. You'll be collaborating with product managers and stakeholders experienced in the finance industry. You'll provide direction & guidance to junior members in the team and participate actively in code & design reviews. You'll be responsible for performing R&D to evaluate the appropriate technologies to use, resolving application and data issues in production within timelines. Demonstrating ability to learn and solve problems pertaining to the domain.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
Basic qualifications:
- The ideal candidate should have 2-4 years of robust experience in C++/Java/Python, in addition to some or all the following: React, Redux, RESTful Web Services, messaging middleware, and databases (SQL Server).
- The ideal candidate should have excellent problem solving and analytical skills as well as a demonstrated passion for technology.
- The candidate should have excellent reasoning ability and good interpersonal & communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- Candidates having experience in Spring, Mybatis/ibatis/Hibernate, jQuery, JavaScript and deployment architecture will have an added advantage
