About the Role
Member of the Altiostar Platform Transport team, which is responsible for design, development and testing of features relating to transport layers of our vRAN Portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Review and improve the quality and test coverage of existing Software.
- Involve in Understanding Customer requirement and converting the same into feature design for our vRAN portfolio.
- Contribute to reviews of transport architecture, platform/service designs, and review of source code.
- Working closely with the QA and Field engineer to root cause issues seen in QA testing and Field deployments.
Qualifications
- Master's or bachelor's degree in engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science or Software Technology or equivalent education.
Required Skills
- Worked on C/C++ for minimum 3-8 years.
- Worked on multi-threading and multi-processing architecture in Linux Platform.
- Worked on IKE daemon (E.g strongswan) configuration to support different network topologies and authentication methods.
- Worked on user plane IP Stack (DPDK/VPP/OVS) implementation.
- Worked on one or more networking protocols: IPv4, IPv6, TCP, UDP, SCTP, TWAMP.
- Required knowledge of Security Protocols IPsec/ESP/AH/TLS/SSH/SCP Protocols.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Exposure to cloud native security best practices in private and public clouds.
Preferred Skills
- Advantageous if below knowledge is there:
- Understands 3G/4G/5G RAN architecture.
- Understands PKI and any one PKI Protocol call flow (EST, CMP, SCEP).
- Virtualized Network Function and/or Containerized Network Function.
- Automation and Scripting Knowledge (E.g. Python).
- Hands on development experience in Linux environment.
- High degree of proficiency in programming methodologies, design patterns, algorithms and data structures.
