Job Description

Role Summary

We are seeking experienced and technically strong Support Engineers with deep knowledge of SIP, DIAMETER, SS7, and telecom core network protocols. The ideal candidate should have experience supporting live telecom environments, troubleshooting complex signaling issues, and working in a 24×7 operations model.

Key Responsibilities

1. L2/L3 Technical Support

  • Provide advanced support for telecom signaling platforms using SIP, DIAMETER, SS7, MAP, CAMEL, INAP, etc.
  • Troubleshoot live network issues related to call flows, authentication, mobility, subscriber provisioning, and routing.

2. Incident & Problem Management

  • Perform deep‑dive RCA of network incidents.
  • Collaborate with engineering and vendor teams for issue resolution.
  • Ensure timely escalation and SLA compliance.

3. Core Network Platform Support

  • Support platforms such as:
    • HLR/HSS
    • PCRF/PCF
    • IMS Core
    • STP/SCP
    • Gateway components

4. Monitoring & Operations

  • Monitor alarms, KPI deviations, and system alerts.
  • Work closely with NOC/L1 teams for acknowledgment and analysis.
  • Ensure uptime of critical network elements.

5. Shift Readiness

  • Work in 24×7 rotational shifts including nights/weekends.
  • Maintain detailed shift handovers and operational documentation.

Job Requirements

  • 4-8 years of experience in telecom domain support.
  • Strong hands‑on experience with SIP, DIAMETER, SS7, MAP, CAMEL protocols.
  • Experience working with HSS/HLR/PCRF/IMS core nodes.
  • Ability to read/interpret call flows, signaling traces (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
