Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Hyderabad for a Senior Medical Coder & Quality Analyst. The individual in this role will be responsible for accurately coding medical records using standardized coding systems. Daily tasks will include reviewing and analyzing patient records, ensuring codes are accurate and in compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to clarify diagnoses and procedures. The role also involves monitoring coding quality and ensuring adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assign accurateICD-10-CM codesperCMS HCCguidelines.
• PerformQA auditsto ensure coding accuracy and compliance.
• Identifydocumentation gapsand provide coder feedback.
• Collaborate withCDIandComplianceteams to improve quality.
• MonitorHCC capture rates.
• Supportaudit reviewsand process improvement initiatives.
• Stay updated oncoding and risk adjustment guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6 months to 5 years of experiencein HCC coding.
• Strong knowledge ofICD-10-CMandHCC mapping(CMS-HCC, HHS-HCC).
• Proven experience inQA auditingandcoding accuracy validation.
• Excellent understanding ofmedical terminology,chronic conditions, andclinical documentation.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.

Certifications

• Both Certified or Non Certified Coders can Apply.
