Position: Media Planner
Job Location: Bangalore
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Media Planner with proven expertise across DV360, Meta
(Facebook/Instagram), and Google Video (YouTube) campaigns. This role is central to
translating client briefs into actionable media strategies, evaluating the feasibility of proposed
plans, and giving a clear go/no-go recommendation before execution. The Media Planner
ensures that campaigns are strategically sound, flawlessly executed, and reported with
transparency. The role requires close collaboration with Client Services (CSS) & Execution to
consistently deliver client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Briefing & Evaluation
Review incoming client media briefs (budget, KPIs, audience, targeting, timelines).
Evaluate proposed client plans to confirm if they are feasible, optimized, and aligned
with objectives.
Provide a clear go/no-go recommendation with rationale.
Translate approved briefs into structured cross-platform media plans.
2. Campaign Strategy & Setup
Develop detailed media plans across digital channels, with strong focus on:
DV360 (Google Display & Video 360) programmatic display and video.
Meta Ads Manager Facebook & Instagram paid social campaigns.
Google Ads (YouTube Video campaigns) video-first planning and targeting.
Google search , Display & P-Max
Ensure all plans follow internal templates, pacing rules, and best practices.
Partner with the Execution team to hand off approved plans for activation.
3. Maker-Checker & QA
Collaborate with Execution and CSS teams to validate campaign setup (budgets, pacing,
targeting, QA, tracking).
Conduct pre-launch QA across DV360, Meta, and YouTube to minimize risks and
prevent escalations.
4. Monitoring & Optimization Support
Track campaign performance across DV360, Meta, and YouTube dashboards.
Partner with CSS for daily scrums to flag risks, recommend optimizations, and ensure
proactive client updates.
5. Reporting & Insights
Support structured weekly updates and standardized End-of-Campaign reports.
Use cross-platform reporting (DV360, Meta, Google Ads) to analyze performance and
generate insights.
Feed learnings into future planning cycles to improve efficiency and ROI.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in digital media planning/buying with hands-on
expertise in DV360, Meta Ads, and Google Video campaigns.
Strong understanding of performance marketing KPIs (CPL, CPA, ROI, CTR, CPM,
CPC).
Proficiency in DV360, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads (YouTube), and other digital
platforms.
Proficiency in DV360 , Google YT & Meta reach planner & Forecasting.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with dashboard/reporting tools is a plus.
Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills for both internal stakeholders and client-facing interactions.
