Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical (Rotary) Engineer with 10+ years of experience in onshore and offshore oil & gas EPC projects. The role involves the selection, specification, and engineering of rotating equipment packages including centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, pumps, turbines, and other critical machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review specifications, datasheets, and technical requisitions for rotary equipment.
- Evaluate vendor offers and perform detailed technical bid evaluations.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and documents for compliance with project requirements.
- Ensure equipment design aligns with API, ASME, and other relevant codes and client specifications.
- Coordinate with process, piping, instrumentation, and procurement teams to ensure proper equipment integration.
- Provide support during FATs, inspections, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Manage technical queries and deviations during project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in rotary equipment engineering for oil & gas EPC projects.
- In-depth knowledge of API standards (e.g., API 610, 617, 618) and rotating machinery design.
- Experience with vendor coordination and package management.
- Strong technical, analytical, and communication skills.
