Role Summary/Purpose:
The Senior Mechanical Engineer, Min 10 years experience, will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of mechanical systems and components. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The employee will also be accountable for completing tasks within a given time frame.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Senior Mechanical Engineer, the employee will:
- Develop pipe specifications
- Develop customer / company standards and specifications
- Develop technical requisition documents.
- Understand piping and vessel code requirements as applicable to stress analysis: B31.3, B31.1, B16.5, Section II & VIII
- Requisition mechanical equipment
- Developing and reviewing RFQ packages (S&THX, ACHX, Vessel, Reactors, etc.)
- Equipment data sheets
- Equipment specifications
- Vendor data requirements
- Inspection and test plans
- Detailed bid analysis
- Work with vendors to resolve discrepancies
- Should take part in Technical Bid evaluation process
- Co-ordinate with Vendor for resolving queries related to RFQ's and TBE's
- Work with estimating group to establish equipment budgets
- Develop technical requisition documents
- Vendor data review
- Includes verification that vendor meets all requisition and code requirements
- Reconcile comments from all disciplines
Knowledge
- Knowledge about the following software is desirable: PV Elite, Nozzle Pro, and FE Pipe.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited college or university.
- Min 10 years of experience in industrial oil & gas, petrochemical or refinery facilities.
- Participation in International Projects
- Availability to travel for short periods of time.
