We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior MEP Engineer to oversee the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems for an ongoing power plant project in Gujarat. The role involves managing the design, coordination, installation, and commissioning of all MEP services to ensure seamless integration with plant operations and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Main Responsibilities Include
- Lead the planning, design review, and execution of MEP systems including:
- HVAC systems
- Fire fighting and plumbing systems
- Electrical distribution and lighting
- Utility piping and compressed air systems
- Coordinate with design consultants, EPC contractors, and site teams for timely and quality execution.
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and vendor documents.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Ensure compliance with IS, IEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, and other relevant codes and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and resolve technical issues.
- Interface with other engineering disciplines to ensure system integration.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection documentation, and as-built drawings.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and support audits and inspections.
The candidate must have
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, electrical systems, and plumbing design.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office, and project management tools. Knowledge of Gujarat state regulations and local site conditions.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Minimum qualification
- BE / BTech in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
- Experience: 10+ years
