The Role
As a Senior Mehanical Engineer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Prepare Design basis (Room Design conditions, Building wise HVAC System description and material description for each HVAC equipment).
- Thermal Load and Ventilation Calculations (using a specialized HVAC Software – Carrier HAP E20II).
- Air system design – Room wise Air Flowrates & Fan Static pressure calculations using ASHRAE Standards.
- Ducting design – Room wise and branch sizing using ASHRAE / SMACNA Standards.
- Utilities calculations (Power consumption, Chilled water flowrate calculations & Other Utility requirements).
- Equipment data sheets for procurement of HVAC equipment viz. (a) AHU (b) PAC (c) Air washer (d) FCU (e) Hi-wall unit & TBE preparation.
- Ensure clash free 3D model.
- Co-ordination with Civil, Architecture, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation and Safety Teams.
- Participate for space utilization meeting, Estimation of HVAC room size, Adequacy check for existing HVAC installation, Layout Study etc.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- HVAC is a specialized branch of Mechanical Engineering.
- A person needs exclusive Knowledge of ASHRAE Fundamentals / Standards & NBC guidelines.
