We are hiring Senior Engineer Mechanical with 12 years of experience in design engineering
- Work on early design ideas, sketches, and write reports.
- Design mechanical systems: HVAC, specialist gas, water supply, drainage, fire protection, etc.
- Check and reviewthe work of junior engineers.
- Focus on designing systems for data centres (like CRAC/CRAH units, chilled water, DX systems).
- Write design reports, technical specs, bills of quantities (BOQs), and tender documents.
- Check vendor and subcontractor designs.
- Use energy-efficient and backup cooling designs for data centres.
- Guide and train juniorteam members.
- Help with project cost estimates and cost control.
- Recommend the best design solutions.
- Make sure all documents and drawings are clear, accurate, and well-coordinated.
- Attend and contribute to design team meetings and client discussions.
- Visit construction sites for inspections and reports.
- Help with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of key equipment.
- Be present on-site during construction and commissioning.
- Build and maintain relationships with people in the data centre industry.
- Know and follow local and international codes and best practices.
- Ensure all building services fit well into the overall building design.
- Work with engineers from other departments and manage coordination.
- Handle multiple projects at once.
- Keep improving your mechanical design skills.
