Senior MEAN Stack Developer (Backend)

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior MEAN Stack Developer (Backend) with 35 years of experience to help us build and maintain scalable SaaS applications. You will be a key member of a cross-functional team responsible for the full software development lifecyclefrom concept to deployment. The role requires strong backend expertise in Node.js (preferably NestJS/Express.js), experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, and a solid foundation in frontend development using React/Next.js.

AI/ML and LLM (Large Language Model) experience are mandatory for this role.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a MEAN Stack Developer or similar backend role.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, preferably with Express.js or NestJS.
• Experience building frontend applications using React/Next.js or Angular.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (LESS/SASS), and JavaScript across client and server.
• Experience integrating ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Expertise in building and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of modern full-stack architecture and design patterns.
• Experience working on high-traffic, consumer-facing applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Proficient with Git, CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Comfortable in Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience with AI/ML workflows, model integration, or deployment.
• Mandatory: Experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, prompting, vector search, embedding integrations, or building AI features into applications.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build responsive, high-quality frontend applications using React/Next.js.
• Make architectural decisions ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Build secure, reliable RESTful APIs.
• Work closely with UI/UX, QA, research, and product teams.
• Maintain, optimize, and debug existing systems.
• Implement and integrate AI/ML and LLM-powered features into the SaaS platform.
• Collaborate on improving development standards, automation, and efficiency.
  
  

Technical Skills Required

• MEAN Stack proficiency: MongoDB, Express.js, React/Next.js, Node.js.
• Strong skills in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery.
• Expertise with PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with npm, Webpack, Docker, and related tools.
• Strong understanding of web security, cryptography, and data protection.
• Knowledge of additional languages like Python, Go, PHP is a plus.
• Good understanding of server management, database design, DevOps.
