Senior MDM & Integration Architect:
The Role:
Lead hands-on architecture and delivery of enterprise MDM and Lakehouse solutions. Drive integration design across various source systems like Salesforce, Oracle ERP etc, mentor technical team members, and shape data platform strategy for flagship clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Integration Architecture
• Design integration blueprints for MDM platforms spanning 500K–2M+ entities across multiple source systems
• Architect medallion pipelines (Bronze/Silver/Gold) in Databricks, Snowflake, or Fabric
• Lead implementation using Informatica, Azure ADF, APIM, Service Bus, Logic Apps, or equivalent stacks
• Define data contracts, entity models, and integration RACI matrices
• Conduct source system discovery and drive optimization reviews
MDM Strategy
• Design golden record frameworks and entity resolution strategies
• Lead vendor evaluations (RFI/RFP, POC scoring, TCO modelling)
• Configure Informatica IDMC business entities and governance models
• Build platform roadmaps aligned with business objectives
Leadership
• Mentor Data engineers on integration patterns and MDM best practices
• Lead architecture reviews and technical design sessions
• Establish engineering standards and contribute to capability IP
What We're Looking For
Must-Have
• 12+ years in data engineering/architecture; 5+ in MDM and Data Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC, Reltio, Talend MDM, or SAP MDG
• Strong expertise in cloud Lakehouse architecture (Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric)
• Hands-on SQL/Python for data profiling and validation
• Proficiency with Informatica, Azure Integration Services or equivalent (MuleSoft, Talend, Kafka)
• Clear communicator: translate complex architecture to discovery questions, specs, and presentations
Nice-to-Have
• Experience with 500K–10M+ entity migrations or complex hierarchies
• Background in entity resolution or matching-as-a-service
• Databricks Lakehouse certification or agentic AI experience
• Hands-on leader: equally comfortable in deep technical work and guiding teams of 5–15 people
• Problem solver: challenge assumptions, propose pragmatic trade-offs, mitigate risks proactively
• Ownership mentality: take pride in end-to-end quality and long-term platform health
• Mentor mindset: invested in growing junior talent through design reviews and knowledge sharing
