Senior Master Data Analyst - SCM

The opportunity:
The new source of SCM Master data (MD)is trusted, timely updated and secure information in SAP S4 HANA,owned byour people,to help Strategic Sourcing teamsdeliver superior value by enabling better and quicker decision making! The right MD in the right form, the right people with the right knowledge, the right technology and the right operations, whenever and wherever needed throughout Supply Chain. For Hitachi Energy (HE) to become a performance-led data-driven company, MD has to play a critical role. With the new direction and focused approach to monitor and measure the key fields, Master data organization in SCM orchestrates the vision for the program to be aligned with Hitachi Energy core principles by translating business strategy into MD strategy.

How you'll make an impact:

• Engages in evaluation of SCM master data objects in SAP S4 HANA during projects with factories.
• Responsible for operations, maintenance and troubleshooting of Master Data Projects in Celonis.
• Should be comfortable with the following tools: Power BI, Celonis.
• Support discussion with Business & IS, in guiding and monitoring task completion, sharing expert knowledge and advice with/without carrying line responsibility.
• Troubleshoots solution and/or performance issues.
• Practical Knowledge on SAP Material Management module, SAP Database Management, Celonis data models.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Qualification into BE/BTech (Engineering).
• Must have 8 to 12 years of overall work experience within SCM (Buyer, Sourcing, Planning, Logistics).
• Understanding and Hands On practice of MM module in SAP S4 HANA database:
• Conceptual understanding and preferable hands-on experience on Celonis, Microsoft SQL Server Studio, Any Data Warehouse (good to have).
• Excellent team player with strong oral and written communication skills
• Possess strong time management skills.
• Keeps up-to-date and informed of HE technology landscape.
• Good Understanding of E-2-E Factory Value Chain. (Mainly as a Procurement Buyer)
• Good Understanding of Unit Testing & Data Validation approach.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as a team player.
• Good organizational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
