About the role

The Senior Marketing Manager, Proactive Health, MISA, is a core member of the global proactive health marketing team and a key collaborator across the MISA marketing organization. This role drives growth & in market activation across all ProActive Health EUMs, including Pharma, Supplement, Functional Food & Beverage, Pet & Clinical Infant & Medical adult nutrition (CIA) across the MISA region. The role will prioritise a focus in Pharma & Supplement EUMs in the Southwest Asia (SWA) Subregion, especially India & Bangladesh - identifying opportunities, shaping strategies, and executing plans in partnership with global, regional, and local cross-functional teams.

You will gather and synthesize consumer, category, customer, and competitor insights to define and advance the MISA Proactive Health EUM strategies. Responsibilities include translating category strategy & implementing go-to-market plans, external campaigns, sales enablement content, customer engagement initiatives, and account-based marketing programs. As part of the MISA Proactive Health commercial pod, you will play a critical role in defining where to play and how to win.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in B2B marketing, with experience in pharma &/or nutraceuticals, and expertise in product positioning, market trend analysis, and consumer insights. Strong leadership in value positioning of nutritional ingredients and a passion for the sector are essential. Success requires effective collaboration with global, regional, and local teams, along with a flexible, proactive mindset to thrive in the dynamic APMEA region.

Key Deliverables / KPI's

  • Insight driven MISA EUM Growth Strategies and Marketing Plans with a focus on Pharma & Supplements in the SWA sub-region, ensuring alignment with global strategies and regional market relevance.
  • High impact campaigns, commercial collateral & best in class customer engagements to strengthen relationships and drive impact.
  • MISA Proactive Health EUM growth & financial metric delivery & pipeline growth

Key responsibilities

  • Drive consumer & market intelligence and competitive insights across MISA to inform strategic decisions and shape category priorities.
  • Define and execute growth strategies by identifying high-potential opportunities through rigorous analysis, market sizing & mapping, and investment evaluations.
  • Partner with commercial teams to unlock key growth levers, build volume plans, and unlock robust pipeline for short- and long-term success.
  • Collaborate on M&A initiatives, providing market evaluations, business rationale, and integration plans to accelerate portfolio expansion.
  • Develop and implement the MISA PAH EUM marketing plan with measurable outcomes, ensuring alignment with global strategies and regional relevance.
  • Lead high-impact campaigns, digital initiatives, concepts and trade show activations to generate leads and pipeline, strengthen brand presence and drive engagement & thought leadership.
  • Create insight-driven value propositions and tailored customer experiences, delivering best-in-class customer engagements, virtually and in person.
  • Manage regional launches and rollouts of global innovations in partnership with commercial and global marketing teams.
  • Deliver content strategy and presence at key conferences, trade shows, and scientific events to reinforce market leadership.
  • Partner with commercial team to develop account plans aligned with category strategy to achieve specific goals and foster strategic customer partnerships.
  • Provide clear reporting and performance insights to senior stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Set vision and direction for marketing activations including lead generation, thought leadership programs & digital optimization to achieve KPIs and accelerate growth.

Qualifications and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business or equivalent with at least 10+ years of marketing experience.
  • B2B marketing experience, preferred in a global organization.
  • Experience in pharma /or supplements / nutraceutical industry, pharma experience in life sciences, biopharma, agbio, or probiotics strongly regarded.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, and able to facilitate and collaborate across a diverse stakeholder base.
  • Strategic planning experience, strong project management skills, commercial and business acumen
