Who's Hiring

A global consumer brand is investing seriously in India and has partnered with Flexiple to hire a Senior Marketing Manager to anchor the team here. The India business has grown past the point where marketing can be run reactively, and this role exists to give it a real strategy and the team to deliver it.

The Scope of the Role

You would set the marketing strategy for the India market, build and mentor the team under you, and be the person leadership turns to for a straight answer on what is working and what is not. This is a role with genuine authority over budget and direction, not just execution.

Where You'll Spend Your Time

Strategy and Team

• Set the annual and quarterly marketing plan against India growth targets
• Hire, mentor, and manage a small team of marketers as it grows
• Own the marketing budget and make the case for where it should go next

Growth and Brand

• Lead campaigns across digital, retail, and brand marketing for the India market
• Own reporting on brand and growth metrics to India and global leadership
• Partner with global marketing to adapt brand strategy for local relevance

The Profile We Need

• 7 to 12 years in marketing, with several years leading or mentoring a team
• A record of owning brand and growth strategy for a consumer business in India
• Comfort operating with real budget authority and reporting to global leadership
• Clear written and spoken English

Bonus Points

• Experience with a global consumer or FMCG brand entering or scaling in India
• An MBA or postgraduate qualification in marketing
