Job Description

Role Overview & Objectives

  • Primary Goal: Drive user acquisition (B2C) and institutional tie-ups (B2B) to scale the EdTech platform's market presence.
  • Core Responsibilities: Oversee the end-to-end sales cycle, lead product marketing, and expand into new regions.
  • Target Audience: K-12 schools, universities, corporate clients, or students and parents (for direct-to-consumer models).

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Development (B2B/B2C): Identify and pitch to new institutional clients (schools, colleges) for software/curriculum adoption.
  • Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to run targeted digital campaigns, webinars, and lead-generation events.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage sales representatives, counselors, and marketing executives.
  • Performance Tracking: Set targets, forecast revenue, and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like lead-to-conversion rates.
  • Relationship Management: Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders (principals, administrators, educators) to ensure customer retention and referrals.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience: Typically 3–8 years of experience in a dual sales and marketing role, specifically within the EdTech or e-learning sector.
  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong grasp of current e-learning trends, curriculum standards, and the local educational ecosystem.
