Role Description
The Senior Marketing Manager B2B is responsible for designing and executing the end-to-end marketing strategy to generate high-value enterprise leads, build brand authority in the industry, and support global or regional sales teams. They own market positioning, product launch strategies (Go-To-Market), and the creation of highly technical sales enablement content.
Role and Responsibilities
- Science-to-Business Positioning: Translating complex clinical trials, R&D data, and regulatory certifications into clear, commercial value propositions for B2B buyers.
- Enterprise Lead Generation: Driving high-value pipelines using Account-Based Marketing (ABM) targeted at specific food, beverage, and supplement brands, alongside digital inbound strategies (LinkedIn, SEO).
- Scientific Content & Thought Leadership: Overseeing the production of high-credibility technical content, including white papers, case studies, webinars, and product data sheets.
- Trade Show & Exhibition Strategy: Managing the end-to-end execution, messaging, and lead-capture for major global and regional industry events (e.g., IHFF, Fi India, Vitafoods).
- Sales Enablement: Equipping the business development team with tailored pitch decks, technical toolkits, and sample-marketing materials that satisfy both procurement and R&D personas.
- Cross-Functional & Regulatory Alignment: Partnering with Regulatory Affairs to ensure all marketing claims are fully compliant (with bodies like FSSAI, FDA, or EFSA) and collaborating with R&D to spot upcoming ingredient trends.
Qualifications
- MBA in Marketing/Business, ideally paired with a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Food Technology, Chemistry, or Pharmacy.
- 7–10 years of B2B marketing experience, with at least 3–5 years strictly within food ingredients, nutraceuticals, or specialty chemicals.
- Deep understanding of the B2B marketing funnel, scientific literacy and experience with marketing automation tools
