VP Marketing/ Senior Marketing Lead

About The Role:
We're looking for a senior marketing leader who can drive both strategic thinking and execution across modern consumer brands.
This is not a pure servicing role and not a pure performance role either.
You should be equally comfortable:
- building brand strategy,
- shaping campaigns,
- scaling growth,
- leading creative and media teams,
- and being a trusted partner to founders and brand leaders.
The ideal person comes from a fast-moving agency, D2C brand, or a mix of both, and has seen what it takes to scale brands in competitive consumer categories.
You will lead integrated marketing efforts across creative, content, social, influencer, performance marketing, and brand growth.
What You'll Own:
- Lead marketing strategy and delivery across key client accounts
- Build growth plans across brand, content, media, retention, and creator ecosystems
- Partner closely with founders, CXOs, and internal teams on business growth
- Drive high quality campaign thinking, not just execution management
- Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across creative, strategy, social, and paid media
- Improve client retention and account expansion through stronger marketing outcomes
- Translate business goals into clear marketing priorities and execution roadmaps
- Bring sharper thinking into consumer insights, positioning, storytelling, and digital behavior
- Push teams toward faster execution, stronger creative quality, and measurable business impact
- Help build Ittisa into a stronger modern marketing and growth partner for consumer brands
What We're Looking For:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in marketing, digital, growth, or brand leadership
- Strong experience in D2C, consumer, lifestyle, beauty, fashion, wellness, or new-age brands
- Experience working in agencies, brand-side teams, or both
- Deep understanding of:
- performance marketing,
- brand building,
- social/content ecosystems,
- influencer marketing,
- and consumer acquisition funnels
- Strong command over Meta, Google, creator-led growth, and content-first acquisition
- Ability to independently lead large client conversations and strategic reviews
- Someone who thinks commercially, not just creatively
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to manage ambitious teams
- High ownership mindset and comfort in fast-moving environments
Bonus If You have:
- Worked on scaling brands from early growth stage to meaningful revenue scale
- Managed multi-crore marketing budgets
- Experience with retention, CRM, community, or ecommerce growth
- Built repeatable systems/processes inside an agency or growth team
- Strong network across creators, production, media, or brand ecosystems
