Senior Marketing Generalist, B2B SaaS (78+ Years) | Bangalore

$20,000-24,000

We are hiring a senior marketing generalist to own high-impact marketing execution across campaigns, lifecycle programs, marketing operations, and performance reporting in a fast-moving B2B SaaS environment.

This is a role for a hungry, hardworking operator who wants real ownership, high velocity, and a clear path to growth. You will work across multiple facets of modern B2B marketing, ship visible outcomes weekly, and help build the operating system that drives pipeline, credibility, and brand momentum.

Scope of Work

1) Campaign Execution and Demand Support

  • Execute integrated campaigns across email, social, events, and partner co-marketing, with clear timelines and deliverables.
  • Convert a campaign brief into an execution plan: audience, message, asset list, tracking, and follow-up sequence.
  • Support outbound and sales motions with enablement assets: outreach templates, sequences copy, event follow-ups, and lightweight collateral.

2) Email Marketing and Newsletters

  • Own newsletter execution end-to-end: content assembly, editing, QA, layout coordination, segmentation, scheduling, and performance review.
  • Build multi-touch email sequences for inbound inquiries, events, webinars, onboarding, re-engagement, and partner-driven motions.
  • Maintain a consistently professional tone with accurate, conversion-focused messaging.

3) HubSpot Marketing Operations and CRM Discipline

HubSpot is a prime system of record and a core execution platform for this role. The candidate should be comfortable operating across HubSpot's CRM and Marketing Hub capabilities.

  • Maintain clean, scalable operations in HubSpot CRM: properties, lifecycle stages, segmentation logic, naming conventions, and campaign hygiene.
  • Use HubSpot Marketing Hub for execution: emails, forms, lists, automations and workflows, sequences alignment, and reporting.
  • Set up and maintain workflows for inbound follow-up, event and webinar registration, onboarding confirmations, and nurture programs.
  • Enforce operational consistency: templates, asset libraries, UTM discipline, documentation, and internal process playbooks.

4) AI Enablement and AI-First Marketing Operations

  • Use AI responsibly to increase speed and quality across marketing execution, while maintaining strict accuracy and brand consistency.
  • Operationalize AI workflows for smoother marketing operations, including content drafting, variation testing, QA support, campaign briefs, and repurposing.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and agent workflows used in modern B2B marketing teams, including tools for AI visibility optimization and content performance research.
  • Ability to evaluate new AI agents and automation tools quickly and integrate them into repeatable internal workflows, with clear guardrails.

5) Reporting and Performance Visibility

  • Maintain recurring reporting on funnel and campaign performance.
  • Track outcomes that matter: meeting booked rate, email performance, form conversion, source attribution trends, and campaign performance summaries.
  • Produce weekly and monthly summaries that include insights and next actions, not only metrics.

6) Project Management and Execution Rhythm

  • Own timelines, task tracking, coordination, and QA across marketing deliverables.
  • Drive a consistent shipping cadence across campaigns, newsletters, event pushes, partner motions, and collateral updates.
  • Proactively surface blockers, manage dependencies, and keep stakeholders aligned.

7) Website Basics

  • Maintain basic page hygiene for marketing requests: title tags, meta descriptions, URL structure, and CTA clarity, in coordination with web resources.

Must-Have Requirements

Experience

  • 78+ years of hands-on B2B SaaS marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate as a true marketing generalist across campaigns, content, operations, reporting, and cross-functional execution.
  • Proven track record of working in fast-paced environments with high output expectations and strong QA discipline.

Skills

  • Enterprise-grade writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly for technical audiences.
  • Strong execution and operations discipline: organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and process-minded.
  • Strong project management capability: can run timelines, manage dependencies, and ship on schedule.
  • Comfort with technical products and translating complex value into simple, accurate messaging.
  • Ability to use AI tools responsibly to accelerate marketing output and improve operational throughput.

Tools

  • Strong working experience with HubSpot as both CRM and marketing execution platform, including Marketing Hub capabilities such as emails, forms, lists, segmentation, workflows and automation, and reporting.
  • Working proficiency in at least one design tool to create clean, professional collateral: Figma, Adobe, Canva, or equivalent.
  • Strong spreadsheet competence for reporting, campaign tracking, and operational QA.
  • Practical working knowledge of AI tooling for marketing workflows, including prompt-based systems and agent-style automation.

Good-to-Have Requirements

Experience

  • Cybersecurity, DevOps, or infrastructure SaaS marketing exposure.
  • Experience supporting event and field marketing motions, including meeting booking flows and post-event follow-up.
  • Experience building partner marketing motions and co-marketing execution.

Tools and Platforms

  • SEO and competitive research tooling: SEMrush preferred.
  • AI visibility and content distribution tooling: AthenaHQ preferred.
  • Analytics familiarity: GA4 familiarity is helpful, not required.
  • Workflow and automation tooling beyond HubSpot: Zapier, Make, n8n, or equivalents.
  • Execution and collaboration tooling: Asana, ClickUp, Notion, Airtable, or equivalents.

Success Measures

  • Consistent shipping of marketing deliverables without quality issues or excessive rework.
  • Improved HubSpot hygiene and smoother marketing operations across inbound, outbound support, events, and nurture.
  • AI-assisted workflows implemented to increase throughput without sacrificing accuracy or brand standards.
  • Clear performance visibility through reliable reporting and actionable insights.
