Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer & Senior CNC Programmer to join our global operations team. This is a unique dual-function role designed to support both our internal manufacturing capabilities in Israel and our external supply chain in India.

You will be responsible for creating high-precision CNC programs and detailed process sheets for our Israeli machine shop, while simultaneously acting as a technical consultant and Process Engineer for our manufacturing partners across India for specific manufacturing projects in India and transfers from Israel machine shops to production in India.

The ideal candidate is a CNC Milling + Turn-mill expert with a deep understanding of complex geometries and precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Global Programming Support (Israel Operations)Lead CAM Programming:

  • Develop, verify, and optimize CNC programs for 3-5 axis milling and complex Turnmill operations.CAM Softwares Preferred: Cimatron & GibbsCAM. Acceptable: SolidCAM, Mastercam.
  • Process Documentation: Create comprehensive Process Sheets, including tool lists, setup instructions, and sequencing, ensuring the Israel-based shop can execute flawlessly.
  • Optimization: Review existing programs to reduce cycle times, improve surface finishes, and extend tool life.
  • Virtual Setup: Perform simulation and collision checking to ensure right-first-time machining.

Local Process Engineering (India Operations)

  • Supplier Technical Support: Act as the primary technical point of contact for our Indian manufacturing partners.
  • On-site Troubleshooting: Visit local manufacturers to resolve production bottlenecks, quality issues, or machining challenges.
  • DFM (Design for Manufacturing): Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to provide feedback on part manufacturability to reduce costs and lead times.
  • Quality Audits: Assist in technical audits of local suppliers to ensure they meet our stringent precision and quality standards. Requirements & Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, including setup, operation, and programming.

Software Mastery:

  • Expert-level proficiency in Cimatron (specifically 3 & 4-axis).
  • Expert-level proficiency in GibbsCAM (specifically for Turnmill applications).
  • We can consider other proficiency like SolidCAM OR MaserCAM but Cimatron / GibbsCAM preferred.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Deep understanding of Turnmill logic (synchronizing spindles, live tooling, B-axis).
  • Expertise in selecting cutting tools, calculating speeds/feeds, and designing work-holding fixtures.
  • Strong ability to read complex engineering drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Communication:

  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • You must be able to communicate complex technical concepts to teams in different countries (in english).

Logistics:

  • Must be based in Bengaluru. Ability to work independently from home initially and transition to a professional office environment later.
