About The Team & Your Role

Strategic Planning & Analytics team is architected to move beyond traditional HR, functioning as a strategic engine that fuels ST's growth through five specialized pillars: Business Partnerships, Products & AI, Workforce Insights, Data Science, and Workforce Planning Architecture. We are currently in an ambitious build-phase, moving away from legacy processes to create a sophisticated, tech-enabled function that mirrors the engineering excellence of the semiconductor industry. We don't want to just manage headcount; we want to build intelligent frameworks and predictive models that ensure our global workforce is as cutting-edge as the semiconductor solutions we provide to the world.

As a member of this team, you won't be working in a silo. You will be at the intersection of human capital and advanced technology, leveraging AI and data science to solve complex organizational challenges and expected to be a foundational builder. We are looking for pioneers to help us design and implement our first generation of advanced analytics and AI-driven products. You won't just be using technologyyou will be architecting the roadmap, selecting the tools, and establishing the data science frameworks that will define how ST manages its global talent for years to come. Key Responsibilities

  • Product Development & Management: Design, develop, and maintain advanced workforce analytics products using Python and Power BI. Write complex, optimized queries in PostgreSQL to extract and transform data from our global HRMS and planning systems.
  • AI & Predictive Modeling: Build and deploy data science models (attrition forecasting, talent gap analysis) that provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Tactical Diagnostic Analytics: Act as a consultant to business units to identify pain points and execute deep-dive diagnostic analytics to find root causes.
  • Storytelling: Translate complex data science outputs into clear, executive-level narratives for the executive leadership.
  • Mentor junior analysts on best practices in coding (Python/SQL) and data visualization.

Your Skills & Experiences

  • Advanced Python for data manipulation (Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning (Scikit-learn).
  • Strong PowerBI skills with DAX, Power Query, and UI/UX design
  • Strong proficiency in VBA for Excel-based automation and tool maintenance.
  • 16+ years of experience in data analytics and data science field
  • Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
