Manager Vendor Management & Partnerships

Role

ET Money seeks a professional to own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle for critical partners like Razorpay, CERSAI, and others in the fintech ecosystem, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and value delivery across tech, product, design, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead vendor empanelment, negotiation of contracts/SLAs, annual performance reviews, and renewals/exits while optimising costs and risks.
  • Manage updates, integrations, and issue resolution with partners (e.g., payment gateways like Razorpay, registries like CERSAI), acting as primary liaison.
  • Communicate proactively with internal stakeholders (tech, product, design, ops, legal) to align vendor capabilities with business needs and roadmap.
  • Build and nurture long-term vendor relationships, identify growth opportunities, and mitigate disruptions through proactive monitoring.
  • Track KPIs (uptime, cost savings, compliance), report on vendor performance, and drive continuous improvements

Requirements

Skills:

  • Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal/written communication.
  • Analytical mindset for performance metrics, risk assessment, and cost optimization.
  • Bachelor's/MBA in Finance/Business; certifications in vendor management or procurement preferred
  • Good in Microsoft Excel, Google sheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6-10 years in vendor/partner management, ideally in fintech, AMCs, NBFCs, or BFSI with exposure to payment processors, KYC/AML registries, or tech vendors.
  • Proven track record in commercial negotiations, SLA management, and cross-functional collaboration in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with RBI/SEBI vendor risk guidelines, fintech ecosystems, and tools like vendor portals or reconciliation platforms
