WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Qualifications
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:
- 8+ years of valuation experience overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of an appraisal division, including offshore and onshore teams
- Deep knowledge of appraisal principles, methodologies, and techniques, including market, cost, and income approaches
- Direct experience managing P&L for Valuations and driving overall revenue and EBITDA performance
- Proven track record of unlocking efficiencies across appraisals, resulting in improved product margins through technology implementation
- Experience leveraging AI to automate tasks, improve quality, and elevate human input when needed
- Strong vendor management skills with a history of negotiating contracts, increasing vendor pools, and maintaining clear stakeholder communication
- Direct experience working with lender services and auction platforms that dispose of assets through platforms like Hubzu
- Expertise in implementing processes that ensure accurate appraisals aligned with client needs and changing market conditions
- Experience generating operational and performance reports focused on KPIs like turnaround times, quality metrics, and budget management
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance with experience in monitoring industry changes and mitigating risks
- History of collaboration with Vendor Management, Legal, and Compliance departments to ensure adherence to requirements
- Experience creating and refining policies and procedures to ensure consistency and best practices
- Proficiency with appraisal software and valuation modeling tools, particularly EVO from Global DMS
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex appraisal issues and handle disputes effectively
