The Senior Manager University Alliances drives high-growth projects and operational excellence across University Alliances and BD. You'll lead strategic initiatives, align cross-functional teams, and act as a trusted liaison with senior university stakeholders. In addition, you will own Key Account Management for designated partner universities, including timely invoicing, collections, and revenue governance. The role demands strong analytics, crisp communication, and high ownership.
Key Responsibilities -
Strategic & Operational -
Drive strategic projects: Lead high-impact initiatives to scale partnerships and improve top-line performance.
Operational excellence: Design and implement SOPs; diagnose bottlenecks and institutionalize fixes.
Cross-functional leadership: Orchestrate Sales, Marketing, Academics, Product, Finance, and Ops to deliver outcomes.
Stakeholder management: Build trusted relationships with VCs/Registrars/Deans/CDOE heads; ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Performance management: Track OKRs, dashboards, and cadence reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR); surface insights and opportunities.
Issue/crisis management: Triage escalations; drive swift resolution; raise critical risks with clear mitigation plans.
Market intelligence: Monitor higher-ed trends, regulatory updates, and competitive moves to inform strategy.
Admin & coordination: Own meeting logistics, notes, actions, and follow-through for strategic reviews.
Autonomous execution: Deliver end-to-end with minimal supervision in ambiguous, time-bound contexts.
Key Account Management (Revenue & Governance) -
Account ownership: Serve as primary point of contact for assigned university partners; run governance calendars (kickoffs, QBRs, renewal planning).
Invoicing & documentation: Coordinate with Finance to issue accurate invoices on time per contract/MoU; maintain PO/WO/supporting docs.
Collections: Own payment follow-upsaged AR tracking, escalation pathways, and resolution of disputes with clear documentation.
Renewals & expansion: Drive adoption, NPS, upsell/cross-sell motions; secure timely renewals.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to academic/contractual SLAs, data-privacy requirements, and audit trails.
Who We're Looking For -
Experience: 4+ years in program/project management, strategy/ops, or consulting; exposure to education, B2B, or high-value consumer tech preferred. Prior account management and AR/collections coordination is a strong plus.
Education: Graduate/MBA (IIT/IIM/BITS or equivalent preferred).
