Job Description

Overview

  • The Scheduling & Execution Leader is responsible for overseeing the TCT team.
  • Coordinate the planning, organizing, and optimizing the scheduling / Execution of shipments to ensure timely delivery and efficient use of resources (fleets and warehouses). This role will analyze data, utilize gTMS/TCT transportation planning models, and coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • The Scheduling & Execution Leader will ensure that appropriate carriers are assigned to each shipment based on PepsiCo's policies, contracts, and capacity availability.
  • This role will also involve making necessary schedule adjustments to ensure practical and feasible shipment Trip build.
  • The role is responsible for issue sizing and escalation with timely interaction with Procurement on carrier capacity assessment
  • Coordinate the correct monitoring of the key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times and alert relevant stakeholders about delays or disruptions.
  • Support the overall coordination with carriers and warehouses to implement corrective actions to resolve issues and minimize delays.
  • Problem solving & team coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the TCT Scheduling & Execution team to ensure compliance with scheduling & Execution processes and procedures.
  • Ensure the effective adoption and utilization of TCT transportation planning technology.
  • Meet service and productivity objectives set for the scheduling team.
  • Coordinate and support the planning, optimization, and scheduling of the most efficient routes for shipments, considering cost, transit time, fleet productivity, and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Collaborate closely with warehouses, carriers, and customers to ensure alignment on shipment schedules.
  • Ensure the appropriate selections of carriers to minimize freight spend and maximize operational efficiency.
  • Guarantee the final Shipment publication Trip Build according to the agreed cut-off time schedule.
  • Train new recruits and evaluate performance.

Qualifications

  • Engineering or Business university degree.
  • 8-11 years of experience in transport planning or logistics management.
  • Proficiency in Excel and knowledge of SAP, TMS, or logistics software.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and logistics software.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.

    Conflict resolution skills and adaptability to different environments.Attention to detail in planning routes and scheduling shipments.
